I have playing with Google Trends a few weeks now and I find it quite interesting but, at this point no more than a toy for the number of relative searches.
The biggest complaint is that you simply cannot release a tool like this and omit a scale on the Y-axis! Come on Google... is it really a secret how many people are searching on what? If it is, just auto-censor some terms, like you already do when you filter the searches going on at the moment in your public displays at the GooglePlex.
Google Trends could really become a great data-mining tool, but we need a few scientists that can suggest how to push this interface... numbers at a minimum.
Being part of the GoogleSky team, I obviously looked up googlesky and it came with this interesting statistics: GoogleSky was the 63rd most search word on August 22nd... Cool!
